Andersen expected to be out 3-4 weeks

Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Lou Lamoriello provided an update today on the status of injured goaltender Frederik Andersen. Andersen is expected to be out for 3-4 weeks after sustaining an upper body injury on Friday, Sept. 2 in a pre-Olympic qualifying game between Denmark and Slovenia.

Andersen, 26, is expected to be ready for the start of the 2016-17 NHL season but will not participate for Team Europe in the World Cup of Hockey 2016.
